Regarding the 1 lb vs 2 lb question, I wonder if the materials they add (they always put a catalog/magazine in mine), or don't add, differ by region? I'm pretty certain that adding that could be enough to push it over 1 lb.
 
Just picked up mine from local FedEx facility in Eagle Rock CA, on San Fernando Rd. Delivery was scheduled for tomorrow, but I took a chance :) Weight was 2lb, sandisk microsd included.
Ordered on 18th, around 10-11 pm Pacific.
 
WOOOHOOO!!! called fed ex since the facility where their holding my fone is 15 min from my house and they said i can pick up my INCREDIBLE in between 6:30 and 8:15pm tonight.. WOW months and months and months of waiting for this very day and now its finally here... thanks guys for all your time dedicated to this site to make this phone become reality, in fact i think 95 percent of ALL THE information and leaks came from this very thread! i wish everyone can get their phone 2day like me you all deserve it just as mush as i do if not more!!!!
 
My Incredible shipped out today and is expected by 7pm on Thursday even though I had put in the FREEOVERNT code at checkout. Called up internet sales and they informed me that it is due to a corporate discount on the account will override this code. Something about the corporation doesn't pay for overnight shipping and since the account is linked to it for the discount then they won't ship out phones/equipment overnight but they will ship out accessories overnight since they aren't linked to an account.

Hope that clears that up for some people wondering why some people received Overnight and some others receiving 2Day.

As for me, I'll have my Incredible by Thursday as promised!
 
Mine arrived via FedEx at 12:30pm. I pre-ordered on 4/20 in the evening. I'm in LA, so I think that's why it was faster.

The package with my phone was 2 lbs and did have the SD card. I also ordered a case, that was 1 lb.

It's charging right now.

How the heck, the rep i just talked to said "Verizon doesn't allow us to let the customer pickup there package until after the first delivery attempt"

:( total bs if you ask me :mad:

Edit: I called back, and talked with a different rep, that called the center where they are "holding" the package, she verified with them and said yes i can pick it up as long as i have the tracking info and a government issued ID (drivers license etc)

They told me the same, but since on a way home I drive by, what the heck, why not??? I tried and got my phone with no questions asked
 
I'm actually hoping that Fedex will send it out of Memphis tonight to my local Fedex (which is only an hour away from Memphis) facility....even though I'm not scheduled until Thursday. I might be able to go to the local place tomorrow and get them to release it early.
 
The last time my tracking info was updated was yesterday at 7am saying it had left fedex origin facility in ontario CA, and it says it should be delivered by 7 tomorrow. is it normal for tracking info to go 30 hours without being updated even though its in transit?

Mine is seating at Memphis facility since 2:48 PM Sunday till now... It's about 50 hours...
It is supposed to be delivered by 7 tomorrow.

I guess Fedex is really strict about 2 day shipping..

Well mine isnt sitting anywhere, its apparently out on the road for 30 hours. i assumed that it would have been checked in overnight somewhere between here (CO) and california but maybe the fedex driver knew what was in my package and kept it for himself! LOL.

Fedex lost my replacement of LG Dare before,,,:eek: It was a drama
 
uhh somethings wrong.. i paid 8.99 for the overnight shipping yet on the fedex site..when i enter in my tracking number.. it says 2day and the delivery is set for the 29th... should i be able to get my $8.99 back since they didn't provide me with overnight shipping like i paid for?

That happened to me as well. Was 1lb. now it says 2lbs. Also what's up with my package departing Newark and coming back like 6 hours later?? WTF!

Got my tracking number at 4:12pm. I ordered it on 4/24 and its scheduled for delivery on 4/29 by 7pm. Its in West Chester, PA right now.

Check my post a few before yours. I called the internet sales number (800-711-7773) and they told me mine was changed to 2Day because of a corporate discount that we receive ties our account to the company that gives us a discount. And this company doesn't pay for overnight shipping so it overrides anything you put in the system for shipping of equipment. I'd call that number (not sure of their hours of operation) and request a refund if you are not getting the shipping that you paid for.

I believe people have previously stated that there is a FedEx facility and a Hub in Memphis. One pickup/delivery facility and one major sorting facility (from what I understand).
 
Just got off the phone with a Verizon Wireless rep and was told they had ran out of stock for the Incredible but a new shipment had come in today. They are beginning to process more orders so hopefully mine will be mailed tomorrow and arrive on time.

I still do not understand why there seems to be many other that ordered after me that already have their phones in route to them. I don't mind waiting in line, but being passed up does bother me a bit.
