I've had an iPhone for the past 4 years (3g & 4) when the 4s came out it didn't have anything new that impressed me. I had been jailbreaking my iPhones from the day I got them and got sick of having to re-jailbreak each time there was an update.

I'm pretty techie, and I like a lot of customization so I decided to cheat on apple and get a droid. I have never been happier!!! I got a SGS2 and learned what rooting was after 2 days. In the past 2 weeks I've tried 4 different ROMs, and customized the $h!t out of my phone!

I LOVED my iPhones when I had them, I still don't hate apple, but now that I've seen the light I don't know how I ever survived without android.

I'm still a noob in every sense of the word, but I seem to be finding my way around pretty well.

Wow - 2 days in and already rooted... 2 weeks in and already tried 4 ROM's... that's good going!!

You may want to check out the SGS2 sub-forums for a bit more info - androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s2-international/ (I've linked one of the sub-froums for the SGS2 - I know that in the US though, there are different variations, so you may want to have a look in them instead)
