Root [1st Gen] Need help with ADB while using KFU

Hey guys I'm a noob when it comes to rooting aneroid devices and I'm stuck on KFU its says ADB: offline
ABD ROOTED: NO
Status: unknown
I installed all the drivers and still no dice it still says offline. So how do I fix this and what do I install first the root or TWRP

Well, first off, could you give us a little bit more of what the process you went through when you installed the drivers. If you could give us a brief description on what you did then we would be in better shape on how to help you. Just giving us the usual KFU message doesn't really help us to know how to help you. So please give a little bit more information on what you did.

did you run the utilities in KFU, or this is after you rooted?
