Root [1st Gen] [ROM]CM9 Reloaded=ICS Now Fully Introduced from XDA

- ICS latest 4.0.4
- CM9
- OC to 1.0GHz (kernel 3.0 is very snappy even at that)
- APEX launcher and Trebuchet Launcher
- Play music, books, and movies included
- Maps + Street view included
- Themed with the standard ICS blue color in ALL apps and extras
- File Manager
- Titanium backup
- Useless stuff removed (Camera, Voice recorder, voice actions, phone, facelock)
- ICS Direct port sounds
- Increased battery life (wifi supplicant scan = 150)
- Much more!

Instructions:
1. Download newest CM9 Reloaded version
2. Put on sdcard
3. Boot into recovery
4. Backup current rom (optional)
5. Wipe data (factory reset), wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache
6. Flash CM9 Reloaded
7. Wipe Cache and Dalvik
8. Reboot
9. On first boot, choose "Setup Wizard"
(Follow these letter for letter, or it will probably not work!)

DOWNLOAD:

v1.2H: CyanogenMOD9 Reloaded Make sure you get kernal 3.0 from somewhere(XDA)

You don't want to bother with this ROM anymore. Apparently the dev hosed his Fire (haha pun!) and ceased development on it. I'm tinkering with Gede's ICS now but not fully happy with my sound issues.

Check out glazed ICS. It has been working great for me. It's the only rom I have bothered running for any extended period of time.
