Help 1X - anyone else?

my Thunderbolt dropped into 1X signal last night and i haven't been able to get it out. I've tried airplane mode on/off, changing services via LTE on/off app, reboot, battery pull... still stuck in 1X. a friend of mine with a Thunderbolt is having the same issue with the same time frame (starting last night).
any ideas?

This is because Verizon's 4G network has been down since yesterday. They're reporting problems of outages. I believe the issue will be resolved soon.So don't worry it has nothing to.do.with your phone.

you can atleast get 3g back if you do the ##778## thing

The funny thing is when I complained to Verizon, they said they've never heard of the problem and it's my phone..i was like, you guys should read the forums!

I wonder when the mods are going to merge all these threads?? I could not help myself--I had to visit them all--slow day at the office
