2.0.1 update and problems w/ Home++?

Gunner

Android Enthusiast
Updated to 2.0.1 this morning, and immediately started having serious issues using Home++. Was getting FC's, or it would just freeze up sometimes in between screens. It even caused a crash/reboot. I have since gone back to the stock Home screen.

Anybody else having these issues w/ Home++ after the update?

Hmm.. I have not had any issues with it. The developer released another update (I believe) today. Did you get that yet?

If you are having issues, send a email to the DEV, they cant fix it if they dont know what the problem is.

I had the same issue till i did the update. The fc happen when you rotate the screen because certain widgets dont respond correctly with home++ rotation. try removing your widgets one by one and rotate your screen, if it doesnt FC anymore then you know what widget is doing it. Otherwise, wait for an update, the last one fixed mine.

If anything it seems like my Home++ has been running more stable after the update. I loaded 2.0.1 last night and have yet to get a force close from Home++ today.

Just downloaded the latest Home++ and reinstalled, and so far so good. Haven't loaded it up w/ a lot of widgets yet, tho. I did notice that the newly updated android Music widget does not work w/ Home++.

my music widget works on home++ on 2.0.1 and actually, home++ is not FC on me anymore or anything after the update today...it is literally now almost perfect.

i am also having issues with home++ after installing the new update. mainly it keeps crashing whenever i wake it up after being in the car dock. idk. weird.

I have the current version and can duplicate a force close by selecting messaging, putting the screen in landscape mode then backing out. I sent a report to the developer. They have been updating regularly. Still my favorite Home app.
