2.1 at last, but...

I got the 2.1 last night. installed it and synched gmail, calendar, contacts.

I have a whole panel occupying HTC mail. I use gmail app, and I want to
make that HTC mail go away. How?

Also, how do I get access to my usb card to install my apps I saved there?

Everything works nicely so far.

I tried navigator in the way to work: super!
The voice though sounds funny...

long press on a widget (the mail thing on your screen) and it will start to move, drag it to the remove where the phone icon should be when it is moving

you should install a file explorer app, es file explorer and astro are popular

If by USB card you mean SD card, go to market and download eStrongs file explorer or something similar and you'll be able to explore your card.
