2.1 FW Approved!!

i always have blond moments!!!

i debrand it to get all the t mobile crap off and also to get fresh updates quicker

+1 on that

if i can get the same phone at CPW i will do as 95% of their phones are unbranded in the box by manufacturer

So no bloatware from carrier to remove
 
Im still running 020 on my x10 cause Orange havent released any updates at all. I doubt I will see 2.1 this year on my mobile
 
Running a dev version for a while, it's nice and fast but 2.1 apps still broken (not showing up) in the Market.

Had a major argument with them...after 6 or so months....i ended up winning and getting a
 
Finally! For some reason mine has started acting up the past few weeks, mostly lagging.

The good thing about getting it from phones4u is that it's unbranded so I don't have to wait on Vodafone (so glad cos Vodafone are useless). :)

If its laggy and playing up etc - i bet you if you reinstall the FW again it will be super quick...i done it once and WOW

But it dont take long to slow down when you install apps etc

I've had mine for 6 months and it's been great, I updated the firmware when it was launched and that improved things so I doubt it's that. It just seems a bit odd that after all this time, it's only now it's showing since of problems. Also, if anything, I use less apps now than when I first got it!

On a seperate note, I've just been asked to update the PC Companion software... Fingers crossed it'll inform me it's time to update my phone! :eek:

I've just screwed up my phone trying to update the firmware after realising it's not the most up-to-date version.

I'm trying to link my google account but now it's asking for a verification code, which it never used to. I've tried lots of times but keeps saying it's failed. I dunno if I'm spelling the words wrong cos the letters are so small or what.
 
Hey Tommy,

I had to set up a new phone yesterday and the Google account asked me for a verification code which I didn't seem to be able to get right, until I realised that I had to put my password back in cos that had gone having already put it in on the first screen. So on the verification screen make sure you have account name, password and then the code.
