2.1 Helicopter View

I'm really liking 2.1 helicopter view, but I was having trouble using the pinch to get to it until I figured out how it works. So for those of you having trouble with pinch to helicopter view, try this:

Put two fingers in opposite corners of the screen
Keep your thumb in place and slide your other finger to your thumb
Take both fingers off the screen
And voila - you're in helicopter view.

I hope this hasn't been posted somewhere else and is helpful to someone.

Same here, but that's mostly because I got tired of fighting (and losing) getting the pinch view to work.

OK, neither the multiple-Home's method or the pinch trick is working for me. I've only stumbled on helicopter mode accidentally once, which led me here. Is there a setting somewhere that would affect this that I maybe have set incorrectly?

AHA! I just found it! There's no pinching involved, at least not on my G2. A somewhat recent update included these two small buttons on the very bottom, at the very left and the very right, that show which screen you're on via some small dots. Tapping those buttons will move you one screen left or right, yeah, yeah, I knew that. I just discovered that LONG-PRESSING either of those buttons brings up helicopter mode!
