2.1 Live Wallpaper ^^.

as there are no stock wallpapers I've searched google and got this cute little free live wallpaper version ^^.

Unfortunately,I cant set a live wallpaper as background when using ADW.It appears only on the stock lock screen.
Since I use Lockpro I dont see live wallpapers at all. :-P
I guess we ll have to wait for an ADW update soon.

just updated my phone to 2.1 - and SE suck. Android 2.1 operating syatem comes with at least 5 built in (ive recently sold my LG optimus on 2.1) live wallpapers (nexus, starfield, green cloud, grass etc).

SE have gone to all the trouble to remove them and add in NONE of their own.

Man - the htc desire comes with the default android wallpapers plus some htc creations!!!

he6rt6gr6m - are you able to rip the live ones off the LG Optimus? Or does anybody know of a website where they can be downloaded?

I have ADW on my X8 and X10 and I have a live paper running, currently there is snow falling in my phone. It's very pretty!

That an official UK update, or is it a rooted update?

Given the screen-size, I'd be surprised if it worked. Unfortunately, I don't feel safe enough to try it, given the X8 is my GF's. If I buggered it, she'd never forgive me. :D

I bought my x8 off a european site but it shipped from hong kong! Its got english and chinese language options but it setup straight away on my tmobile uk settings.

I got it through pc companion - SE added more handsets to the update list yesterday.
 
i've found the live wallpapers do make my x8 lag a bit at time, like scrolling thru the menu is a bit jerky etc.

It lets me choose a live wallaper but it doesnt show as in LauncherPro for example! :o

Are you running a theme with ADW cos I don't I just run the basic ADW. That's the only thing I can think?

Perhaps its the complexity of the wallpaper you chose, I am using one called Falling Snow free from the android market... give that a go if you can get it and let me know what you were trying to run and I'll give it a go this end. We can then compare notes!

depends on which live wallpaper you are using

some out there in the market really make our phone lagggyyyy

others are cool :D

I must admit as soon as I updated my phone to 2.1 I swapped straight from ADW to Launcherpro plus and havent looked back - Ipaid for the upgrade to get some cool widgets built into Launcher pro. The live wallpaper works perfectly.
