Root 2.1 Root Add-On'S :D

Yes, I've unmounted the card through settings.
Oh and I wrote sh /sdcard/app2sd.sh. sd was a typo.

I've also tried without connecting the phone to the pc. I managed to see the script but after I pressed enter two lines showed up saying that no busybox was found. In the end it uninstalled a few apps and that was it...

I'm starting everything from scratch. I'll use SEUS to restore and let's how I go from here.

Thanks for your quick reply!!

Still no luck. The only time I managed to see the script was when I runned terminal emulator withouth unmounting the card. Again, I saw the script but after pressing enter the same thing happened - no busybox, something else and then just starts uninstalling apps.

Can you help me Suhel? I can't seem to get it...

Guys I have problem with the xrecovery. I did everything but when I reboot and se logo appears I press the back button and it does nothing . Is this because I had the busybox installed before? But also when I copy the files it asked to overwrite and I press yes so I don't think that this is the problem. Anyone have any idea of is wrong?

It's primary function is a fullphone backup.
You can do app2SD without worrying about xrecovery, just make sure you've a backup cuz I see many guys messing up with app2SD

Hi guys, this is my very first post. I recently rooted my phone with SuperOneClick and now I want all the other goodness. I have just a few questions before I install xRecovery, app2sd (need this badly), JIT and ofcos change the horrible SE blue UI.

I have Titanium backup and BusyBox installed so...
1. Should I uninstall Titanium if im going to install xRecovery?
2. Should I uninstall BusyBox too?
3. Is there any precaution I need to take just incase I screw up?

Lastly, I have already downloaded the xRecovery file. I just need to copy the 3 files (xrecovery.tar, busybox & chargemon) into the /system/bin folder and reboot, right?

Any help will be extremely appreciated as im new to android and a complete noob :-)

TIA... peace to all.

1) Dont need to uninstall
2) Dont need to uninstall as well
3) Backup all your apps/contacts etc with sony erricson backup n restore.

After copying and replacing, remember to set the permissions by long clicking on each of the 3 files and ticking all of the boxes (:
Hope this helps.

click MOUNT R/W on top of rootexplorer before pasting

yeah was doing it.

But now i figured, if i was selecting multi select and was coping and pasting all 3 at once, it was not happening. Now did it one by one. its done. copied all 3 and in permission checked all the blanks boxes.

Now wats next ? xrecovery is installed ?

Btw thanks alot for reply :)

Now i tried starting xrecovery by switching phone off and tapping back button while restarting. but did not work. phone stats normally. is it that phone should be conected to pc ?
