Help 2.1 to 2.2 data connection

I want to upgrade from 2.1 to 2.2 froyo on my Wildfire. I got the notification.
They recon it uses quite a lot of data to load, so it would be advised to use a Wi Fi connection.
I dont have that facility where i stay, except the internet providers signal.
So i would like to know of an estimate how much mb the down load would use.
I am on a 110mb package at the moment.

I read up somewhere it uses up to 59mb of data.

Well i down loaded it 63mb of data.
Everything works fine, i took a chance and didnt back up and everything still there.
I must now say i dont see the big deal in this 2.2 upgrade.
There are a few little things, like wi fi and stuff which isnt worth the effort really.
Maybe i am missing some thing here,, maybe its for the gamers, but the phone, Internet, Gmail and SMS its all just the same/
Now i need a 2.2 green avatar......any help with a design will be great.
