Anyone know if there is any benefit of upgrading the 2.15.00.07.28 Radio (one I'm currently running) to the 2.15.00.09.01 radio?

Seems like it improved my reception some but I suppose it could be a placebo effect. I tried it just to see if it would make a difference. I really don't think it made much of a difference though. Some of the new roms being released recommend this radio update before installing for some reason.

Well as long as no one is seeing anything negative from it, I think I'll flash it.

How are you trying to install it? It has to be installed in HBOOT.

My reception has definitely improved, I can confirmed that. I was sitting in the similar spot while holding my phone in the similar spot, I took notice on the signal, before and after, it's about +6 dBm.

just flashed it, FWIW signal went from -69 db on 2.15.00.07.28 to -66 db on 2.15.00.09.01, GPS, camera and camcorder all working just fine on latest Skyraider with Sense and kings kernel #5.

You do realize +6db is worse......

Did you mean your db level dropped -6db (ie -80db to -74 db)?

Ummm, +6 is better. The closer to 0 the better the reception.

are you saving the zip file as PB1IMG.zip and booting into Hboot? I don't know why it would tell you it's still the old version. I flashed it recently so I could flash the Incredible Does ROM and it worked fine for me.
