2,2,1 update for htc magic what about hero

Hi all saw on another mobile phone website(coolsmartphone) that htc magic(on vodafone) are getting FROYO has anyone heard about the hero getting it too? as isnt hero newer so make sense hero to get it also.i gave up hope hero getting another OS update but you never know now.

The fact the hero runs HTC Sense is probably the reason we aren't getting 2.2. The magic runs vanilla android and so would require far less effort for them to upgrade.

I'm still surprised they are getting it though.

Hi thanks for reply yes good one think i will get the pure android phones from now on the nexus 1 and now nexus s gets all the updates first.hope is now dashed again ha ha
