quick question, my epic has firm ware version 2.2.1 is that the newest available firmware for the epic and whats the name of it like I have been reading around on here and I see a lot of people talking about hummingbird and such

Look under menu / settings / about phone... Scroll to baseband. Latest version ends in EC05.

and i noticed under build number it says FROYO.EC05

Hummingbird was more than likely refering to the processors and what not

Rumor has it that June 20th we will see 2.3.3

Well a good source of rumors stated it would release officially then, and another creditable person stated that this was to kind of hold us over and we would get more updates to fix things and add things down the line
But I would bet on getting it before june is over

I was in the initial EB13 OTA launch. Worked fine for me.
