So I noticed in the default browser i get the option to switch my search options. Mine is set to google, but when I do any search the the browser url bar is still goes to bing...Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone know of a way to remove bing without custom roms/rooting? I like the default launcher and want to keep it as much as stock, before 2.2 i was using skyfire and might have to go back to it even though i like the speed of the default browser.

Can anyone confirm the same on their phone. Open the default browser goto settings at the bottom click set search engine and select google or yahoo. Go back to the browser and type any search term into the address bar and click go/enter. Does it still route to bing?
