Root 2.2 and ROOT

question when i update to 2.2 will my DESIRE be ROOTED will i be able to take screen shots change fonts etc as i see here in the "show us your homepage" forum??

if not should i root it 1st or wait for the update??

You can't root 2.2 at the minute. I'm sure it won't be too long before you can but at present it isn't possible.
