So, I have noticed much better download speeds since updating to the most recent 2.2 leak (same as the OTA) even though i dont have the new radio. i rarely (if ever) got above 1Mbps. now i've been hovering anywhere between 1.8 and 2.0. i'm very happy about this. before, i was around 600-800k.
Where is everyone else? I'm curious about how speeds are in different parts of the country, and if you have before/after results.

Since 2.2 OTA, stock since launch, nothing special app-wise, I get:

5 plus DL and 3 plus upload.

Both much higher. These speeds are consistent. That was not the case before OTA.

Happy camper here.

I believe your 3G strength is equivalent to your voice signal strength. If you are not getting 4 bars your signal could be inferior.

My speeds are a little faster depending on where I am. I also see more of a constant 3G connection, and less of 1X. I rarely drop 3G anymore.

800K down here. Nothing to write home about, but still tolerable when tethered for some quick, last-minute work.
