2.2 Dinc vs. DX 2.1 Benchmark

Does anyone care to see the comparison benchmark tests between the 2.2 Dinc and DX? I switched back to my Dinc and installed 2.2 and curious if anyone wanted to see them cause i'll post them or video the results.

Here are just the graphics.

Graphics:

Total Graphics Score:
DX: 23.985842
Dinc: 26.40585

Draw Opacity Bitmap:
DX: 7.3142858
Dinc: 9.507893

Draw Transparent Bitmap:
DX: 7.356322
Dinc: 6.6428804

Can anyone explain to my why the Dinc gets better graphics than the DX? I thought the DX had a separate GPU which makes the picture quality that much better for the DX and should be smoother. Am i wrong?

Exactly waht I thought about. Since 2.2 is to bring a lot of performance improvements, then the DX should be at least as good as DINC or even better.

Its not. I installed the leak 2.2 for my X. The linpak scores are only 14mflops.
 
On the Quadrant Standard scors, my stock 2.1 DX beats my buddies DInc with 2.2. Some of the tests, the DX has better framerates, and on others, the DInc does better. Like the part where you are moving through the tunne and up the stairs into the room, the DX is was better on that test. But the one with the moon revolving around the planet, the DInc stopms on the DX, FPS wise. Over-all scores are usually DX in the 1200 range and his DInc around 1100. And that's with us side-by-side on the same network, hitting the start button at the same time (my DX finished faster) and everything. They are different phones made by different manufacturers with slightly different hardware, there will be differences. Plus, the DInc is months and months old, it's almost an antique!

Exactly why people shouldn't rely on a bunch of meaningless benchmarks.

On the other side of the fence you have people crying that the Hummingbird has problems with Quadrant, or Linpack benchmark is optimized for Snapdragon, etc.

Take all of them with a grain of salt and don't fret over a silly number.

I agree. If the phone is snappy, who cares?

Yup. And if you NEED a number, run all the benchmarks and compare the total scores or something. Doesn't matter anyways. My QS score is a bit higher than my buddies DInc, but his phone runs smooth and he's plenty happy with it, so who cares?
