Help 2.2 - good....GPS - bad!

I have the 2.2 update and loving it, but my gps still seems to not work. I tried to run the fix where you type in the code to the dialer to access the settings page but for some reason it will no longer accept that code. Does anyone have an idea when this will be fixed/how to fix it under 2.2?

Search the market for "gps restore" by samsung. That seemed to fix mine.

Ryan, do you have the app, anycut? That would provide a means that we can explain a quick way to get to LBSTestMode.

I am curious as to what Robo wants to know too, what is your build date? It seems silly, but there are a range of phones that have less than desirable QA check done, especially concerning the GPS.

Official 2.2 ROM w/ Kies mini. Virgin phone/never rooted.

Froyo uses a different code: *#*#3214789650#*#*

But I'll 2nd what DrPennington suggests as it seems to have fixed mine too.
