2.2 is Officially Here

Hello Everyone

So this is my first official post. As usual I check under the system updates manually. Today there was an actual update!!! It said that there was an update it said to system version 2.3.15.en.US version. I downloaded it and when I went to "About Phone" it said that the Android version was 2.2 and the system version was 2.3.15.MB810.Verizon.en.US. So start checking your phones manually folks because 2.2 is officially here for the Droid X
 
Okay, so I get not hounding people about using the search feature to dig up old threads on a subject.

But how does one miss the fact that there are probably at least 20 active threads in every single Droid X forum on this subject?

And its crap if you're into doing anything with your X other than using it a stock android bloatware fill crap bucket. If I can't flash it back using sbf theres no way I'm putting it on my device. Thanks for ruining my Wednesday Moto.
 
Heck, I was downloading mine at 0545 this AM on my way to base.

Hopefully this fixes some of the bugs I have been putting up with.

Still I am loving my X
 
It's funny being on this forum where a little bit of haggling goes a long way. I'm a member of an OT forum elsewhere on the internets and the slightest hint of a repost results in nothing short of 5 pages of "ban him" or the like. It's funny seeing the two extremes.

But ya, search. :D
 
You should see the ar15 forums, they make you want to jump off something really tall onto something really hard...head first.
