2.2 Messaging app: Display mobile numbers only?

When I start typing a contact's name in the 2.2 messaging app, it pulls up all of their numbers (home, work, mobile). I really only want messaging to display a contacts mobile number.

I feel like this happened in 2.1, and no longer happens in 2.2. Am I nuts? Is there anything I can do to change it?
