Root 2.2 ota on a rooted phone

OK so I have just a rooted fascinate no clock work recovery no custom rom , just root. I recieved the prompt for the 2.2 ota if I download it will it hurt anything? I know I will prolly lose root but besides that will anything happen?

Yes and yes. After I rooted I just never had a chance to down load and install clockwork or flash a rom. And I downloaded the update anyway and the only problem I see is Google.galls. has stopped unexpectedly the it goes into a force close loop for a bit. Also I noticed I still have the superuser app still and can't get rid of it.

I also did the 2.2 OTA update on my rooted Fascinate. Seems to be working fine, lost root, lost my home screens layout (took me like an hour to get all my desktops setup back the way I want).

Now, I have to root, looking into that later today.
