If you already have 2.2 installed, yes there is.Just wondering is there a Root available for 2.2 on the EVO? I tried search but didn't find any matches. Also tried Google but not sure if those could be trusted.

It is the first sticky on the page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the instructions point to rooting a "stock" EVO 2.2 from Sprint. Nobody has mentioned if they were successful rooting a phone that was not stock with 2.2 and had accepted an update from Sprint to 2.2. Has anyone rooted and "updated" 2.2 that didn't come from Sprint with 2.2 on it?
