2.2 Screen Rotation issue really bothering me now

It seems to have changed the angle at which mine rotates. used to be if I hold the phone in my hand s I'm looking straight at the screen and rotate it it would rotate. now if I want it to rotate I have to tilt it straight up and down to get it to rotate then tilt back to where I can see the screen.

I agree... Since the Foyo update my phone is biased toward side view more often, and I also need to tilt the phone pretty severely to get it to rotate correctly. There should be a way to adjust the point where the phone thinks "level" is 3-dimensionally so that the end user could adjust the screen orientation preference.

But then Android can't get bluetooth, email, and calendar widgets right so I wouldn't hold your breath on getting screen orientation fixed.

This has been a pain for me too. But mine won't rotate at all on the home screen. If I'm in apps- say gmail, maps, or the browser- the rotation works just fine. If I'm on the home screen, I have to slide out the keyboard to get it to flip to horizontal orientation... and then it takes a good 5 seconds for the icons to load. Problem started with the 2.2 upgrade.
