Is anyone finding that since installing the 2.29.110.6 patch the battery low warning is no longer useful? It's powering my Desire down almost immediately after the 15% message shows. :confused:
 
Probably just a coincidence then. I've always had time to run for the charger at 15% even when doing something power intensive like YouTube. Maybe my battery is finally giving up after (almost) two years.

No its nothing to do with that. Li-on batteries only use 85% of their charge and shut down at 15% by default in the desire. It was simply set on SOME desires to map that 15% to 1%.n That mapping is now lost, thats all. You are still getting teh same life out of it.
