Root 2.3.5 help manually install

Since our phones are rooted, we no longer receive OTA updates correct? so i need to find a good link to 2.3.5 because my googletalk is all jacked up when i try to use it. there is no sound.

anyway, I flashed a version i found online somewhere but when i go back and look it still says im running 2.3.4

any ideas? Am i just not doing it right? I did everything the same way i put CM7, Netarchy kernal, and all that good stuff on. help would be appreciated brothers.
 
alright so i tried it but it got stuck in a bootloop, also, is there a Rom out that will work with 2.3.5? or am i stuck using the stock ROM? I have cm7 now and saw that CM hasnt made one for 2.3.5 yet
 
cm has 2.3.5 in it, has for the last few nightlies.
and yes unless your coming from a stock deodex'd rom then youll need to wipe when you flash that ;)
