2.3.5 to 2.3.7?

alright, so i want to root my GSII and run CM7. after reading a bit it looks like i need to update from 2.3.5 to 2.3.7. how do i do that? seriously, i tried searching for updates on the phone, no dice, i tried looking for updates from kies and it says im on the current firmware. i tried googling it and i got no answers.


can anyone help me on this?

First you need to root your phone, see here:-

Secondly you need to install CM7 after reading the installation instructions here:-

Please note the warning in the above thread...

"Warning : Not for new users, flash this build only if you know what you are doing !!!"

Flashing CM7 correctly will require careful reading of the installation instructions.
