I updated Android from 2.2.3 to 2.3.5 the other day, which has caused some problems now. I also reset all the data on the phone.
When I connected the device to my computer to go do some app development, it couldn't be found from eclipse (USB Debugging was enabled). Although I had never needed kies before, I tried that to no avail. Kies did install the drivers though and windows will recognise the device.
However, I tried to go set my USB settings to samsung kies, but USB settings are no longer in the wireless and networks settings menu.
Any idea how I can resolve this matter?
Edit: Ok, apparently HTC is the maker, not a make of samsung. I guess kies is not an option then, like it didn't used to be. Anyway, the problem still stands that eclipse wont pick up the device. But that may be an eclipse issue, i'll keep trying things and report back.
Thanks.
