Every firmware release I've seen has broken something. Personally, I'd rather they just stopped entirely. I have no interest in seeing my $500 phone made into more of a hassle because they didn't adequately test some obscure setting.
Not to mention that these "upgrades" usually alter the user's workflow in some manner. Sometimes this makes it easier, and sometimes it doesn't. Either way, as the user you are now FORCED to use a new methodology. I'm fine with the old; they aren't going to fix the things that are assing me off about this phone, anyway, and the odds are a lot higher that they're just going to screw something up for me instead.
I'll let you early adopters find all the stuff that's broken. I don't plan to update for at least six weeks after the release. Thanks for being my guinea pig.
