Root 2.3.6?

The quick answer is DON'T. The 2.3.6 setup has massive issues with disabling data (3g and 1x) as well as mms & play store.

Maybe the devs will come up with something that works out of the flash, but until then....

Leave it alone. It creates more headaches than it is worth
 
I've been working on it. Got data working out the box. Working on mms and market. Its rooted also

Im also working on it. Just waiting to get my admire back from samsung.

Once it comes back, ill backup the current rom and install 2.3.6 for the testings.. I havent done this in a while..So lets see if i can remember what i am doing :D
 
I have been as well even got it to flash with req's kernel I also have it deodexed among other things but can't seem to get mms working data works though
