Yep; my Desire HD is updating now, so after weeks of "available soon" on their site it's finally here for Vodafone Australia folks.

So far so good liking some of the new features.

How's battery life? It seemed to chew through a charge pretty quickly yesterday after upgrading, but I'm half-sure that's 'coz I was futzing around with it a bit more than usual. But nearly 50% down in 9 hours is a bit heavy compared to what I was getting.

Mmmm jury still out on the battery life, I haven't found mine to be any
better on 2.3, but in all fairness i've been playing with it more then usual as well.
Mine chewed bout 40% in 7hrs, mostly texting, 4 5min calls and playing words with friends. Brightness was on Auto now set to 30%
