Help 2.3 update and Video Chat

When will we be getting the 2.3 update for the LG revolution. Are there any applications out that will allow video chat using the front facing camera on the Revolution with the current OS?

I've not heard anything official on Gingerbread for the Revo.

As for video chat, a representative from Tango posted in another thread that they'd just received their test Revo and were working on it.

Fring is the only app I've found so far....for ffc video chat that is...

Supposedly 2.3 in July but take it with a grain of salt. Nothing ever releases on time with Verizon. I would however say that we may see it by October or November. Many areas will be in complete 4G by then and make pushing the data far easier. (complete speculation)

Am I to understand that we should be able to use Google Talk for video chat with anyone that has a computer with a webcam or capable smartphone? That will rock!!! I'd assume an update to 2.3 will add this functionality?
