2 corrupted memory cards in 2 weeks

I don't know whether its a sign of aging hardware (I've had my phone for 15 months now) or what, but in each of the past 2 weeks I have had 2 different 16gb micro sd cards become corrupted and unreadable. Now, if I stick the sd card into the adaptor and plug it into my computer, the card works just fine and all my data is still there. But when its in my phone, the phone says that my card has been removed and to insert a new one. No matter how many times I reboot, it still won't recognize the card. I haven't had any kind of problem like this before since I've had it. I take very good care of my phone, so I know I didn't physically break it or anything.

Nope, no root. I don't even know how. But oddly enough, after the second card got corrupted, I tried the first one one more time and somehow it started working in my phone again. So at least for the time being, I suppose I'm back in business. (unfortunately I DID lose all of my playlists by changing my memory card so much. Over 2000 songs I now have to reorganize...)
