ok i now have two s-on unlocked OG Evos both running the ubersonic RC3 ROM and that is how they will remain from here on out. I got the first as a PDA for the wife she uses its wifi capabilities to do just about everything including call and text her friends but it is primarily intended to be a media player, planner and allow emailing all of which it did so well we decided to grab one for my ten year old son as a media player.

now my question (see the POINT is at the end :eviltongue: )

Do I need two nandroids for the two phones i will never restore them to sprint they will both run this rom or whatever but i dont see why i would need two nandroids for the saME SETUP. Is that right?

yes you have a point:p

ok so nandroids are phone specific. and making a nandroid backup is up to you. you do not necessarily need them if you do not have a need to go back. as long as you have recovery and not worried about data and such then by all means they are not necessary.

Even though you will probably never use it as a phone again, you could always nandroid backup a good working phone ROM and store it on a computer because you just never know if you will need it.

i have one and you are right although i cant see how i could use it personally i dont have sprint its terrible in my area and this phones radio will be obsolete b4 sprint ever becomes a quality provider in my area but i kept it incase another member here needs it as it is all the origanal info for the phone.
