Root 2 into to GB question

Got a quick question. Do you have to do an sbf to go from miui or a 2 into rom to GB. 596? Or can you install the 2 part GB from a 2 int install? On a trip right now and battery life is getting on my nerves

you have to sbf back to froyo and then either take the ota, and root it, or take the prerooted .602

Ok, so I can't go from miui.us straight back to my GB. 596 installation by just doing the 2 file GB install. Oh well, will suffer with battery life until I get back from trip.

Thanks. No big deal. Got my laptop with me and could do it if I get the time. Battery life has not really been an issue until this trip and wow drains down quick. Love 2int roms just need the gb battery life
