Help 2 kindas of galaxy S2???? i'm comfuse!!

I was browsing some cases online, i found there are 2 kinds of galaxy S2??? how come there are 2 kinds out there? and what's the difference??

There're actually more than 2. Just in the US, there're Tmo version has a biggest battery rating than the Sprint version. ATT version has the smallest screen.

The one you shown above is the Asia version. I have seen it in Hong Kong. The one button makes the device even more closer resemble the look of iPhone. I guess they have to ditch that one button look in the US.
 
oic. beacuse I purchased a case on obostore.com, it didn't come in the right now, but it's showing for galaxy S2, so i was wondering, where do you guys purchase your case?? i don't really like thick and big cases.

In the US there are basically two versions of the SGS2. The Sprint version and the *original* AT&T version have slightly smaller batteries (different physical size and capacity), no NFC, and are slightly narrower. The T-Mobile version and the *new* AT&T version (Skyrocket) have the larger battery, NFC, and are wider. The T-Mobile version and the AT&T Skyrocket can use the same battery and case; and the Sprint and *original* AT&T versions can use the same battery and case.

There is a thread about cases for the T-Mobile SGS2. Sorry, too lazy to post a link. :(
 
When you're looking for a case just make sure it's either T-Mobile specific or for the "T-989" and you'll be fine for the size difference.
