Save Gas by Avoiding Left Turns Whenever Possible

I think UPS put this into practice a couple of years ago. Unless there's a decent light, some left turns are more than hazardous.

Seems logical, but what about the people who drive on the left side of the road? Should they avoid right turns?

You clearly don't have European-style one way systems or medieval street layouts: turn left instead of right and you could be lost for days ..

That's not strictly European. When I was driving through downtown Waco, TX many years ago, I had to drive 5 miles to get a block over. Just poor road planning, that is!

I know mythbusters did something like this, and they tested it by playing the role of a delivery company.. i don't remember the results though haha

I find a lot of the 'tests' Mythbusters do are extremely unscientific...
