2 questions: recurrent text message, and contact backups..

issue 1 - i am having a recurrent notification in my task bar up top of a message that i deleted a week ago - when i roll down the bar and click the message it goes to an empty window, so i know it's deleted, but yet it continues to recur all the time, my notification led is on always - anyone ever had this problem before, and if so, how to resolve it?

issue 2 - if anyone uses go contacts, have you ever noticed that under contacts, if you save a number and use a custom name for the number instead of one of the presets - if you backup and later restore your contacts, all the names that you used custom for, appear only as "custom"

for instance if you save a contact "work"
then a sub number under it and use a custom name"work security"

if you ever restore the contacts from backup, "work security" will appear as "custom"
so you might see ten numbers that say custom, custom, custom etc...

what good is the ability to save custom names, if they dont restore properly?

thank you for thoughts :D

1) Are you using go sms? If so is the message icon different then the one go sms uses? I have not found a way of making this stop, short of freezing the stock sms app with titanium backup. But be warned.. this will require you to make changes to your go sms configuration and I'm not sure where... I stopped using go sms because its not compatible with avast mobile security.

2) if you use go contacts that does happen but with the regular contacts app if you choose custom and name it and update it will save the custom number label. There is a way to do it with go contacts too but its been awhile.. I think you need to scroll through your options and you will find two customs in the dropdown. Choose the first. Idk if that was it but its worth a shot.. if it doesn't work just use the stock contacts app. Go contacts does not seem to play nice with google contacts.
