2. You know how you bring down your notification bar and the date shows. Anyway to keep the date on top to show all the time?

I don't believe there's an app for this site.

You can find a widget that will give you that date functionality, albeit it will be on the home screen and not in the notification screen. Keep in mind that when the phone is locked, pressing the unlock button shows the time/date.
