Newbie
1) Lately for me, downloading from the Google Play store had been ludicrously slow- like 10kb a second type slow- over anything but a wifi connection. What is going on?

2) Since rooting, my phone has duplicated, as far as i can tell, every file on my phone and sd card each time i plug into a pc. Most duplicates appearing as empty files. What's this about?

I'm not running any roms yet, so i have no idea what the deal is. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Side note- recently I've been getting the audio warbling others have been noticing, started about the same time google play got crazy slow dl speeds

are you sure your not throttled? after 2560mb it goes down to like .33mbs
those files are thumbnails. all downloads go to sdcard0 i use esfile to transfer because its alot easier
 
Nope, not throttled. My data cap reset on the 1st. Downloading from anywhere but Google Play is pretty quick.
