Root 2 Simple Questions

1) I am rooted, I assume I can just apply the OTA, however, I will no longer be rooted, correct? The OTA will upgrade everything, as I am completely stock other than root.

2) Can you root 2.2 with being unrevoked forever?
 
Yes, you should install unrevoked forever prior to taking the OTA. You will then be able to regain root.
