Ya isnt part of the point of ICS to end fragmentation, that won't work so well if soft buttons on all current devices don't work.phones being released with ICS may have no actual or capacitive buttons,but id be willing to guess the source code will support them,so that current phones can be upgraded.
If thats your dream phone, whats the one after that?I know I've whined enough about this, but I'm gonna say it again.. I REALLY want the 'Krait' dual 1.5ghz CPU and Adreno 225 GPU. The specs are amazing, and as a bonus, use less battery power than current single 1ghz CPU's. That's gonna be a game changer and Qualcomm started shipping them late Spring. I'm really hoping we see them in an HTC phone at CES.
I'm sure it's not the Thunderbolt
