2014 - Personal year in review

The first few months of 2014 were consumed by the "polar vortex" in the northeast U.S. We had record cold and loads of snow. Gave the ol' snowblower a good workout.

In February, my son and his fiance moved in with us to save for their wedding.

April I put together our last (probably) exhibit in Atlantic City ... now what all the casinos are closing, who knows.

May we had a freak hailstorm that tore up everyone's cars and roofs.

June, new roof from the hailstorm.

July, Son and Fiance move to new apartment. The bride's father and I rented a truck and moved the kids .... for the last time. Two words ... professional movers!

August. Son's wedding. :D

In October, I put together an open house/trade show for my employer for our 10th year anniversary. Spent about $100k of their money on that one.

Last month had my genes mapped in a study on heart disease. Both my brothers have inherited the bad heart gene and I apparently got the good one. They are trying to figure out what got turned on or off that keeps my cholesterol and blood pressure low when my brothers are ringing the bell.

And we can't forget AF's big move to Xenforo. :)

Let's hope the New Year is peaceful, quiet and happy.
