2022 “Stawberry Supermoon”

So who got to see it? It was very pretty.

We are traveling and are on the NE coast, where we were treated to a rare “Capsule Supermoon.”

isn't this just a full moon that is appears at a certain time? nothing really special about the actual moon other than the time of year it occurs.....am i correct?

It is a super moon. It appears larger and brighter than the normal full moons. Here is a link to give you a bit of info.

In addition to Olbriar’s correct comments about it being “super,” it’s called a “strawberry” moon because, as you surmise, it coincides with a time of year, in this case the strawberry harvest.
