21 Jump Street

anybody see it yet? saw it last night and it was hilarious!! loved it. if you saw it, what are your thoughts? if you haven't, i recommend it.

Hadn't heard of it until saw an advert for it on the side of a bus today. I thought wtf is that about. Lol

this movie was freaking hilarious literally Par if not Better than Superbad when it came out it is clearly a classic.....

ps. i cannot stand going to the movies cause its so damn expensive i go maybe 2 or 3 times a year now but i would pay to see it again its that good

Is it now a Movie title ? All i know 21 Jump Street was Johnny Depp's early TV Series around 90s. Are they making a movie version based on this tv series ? Where have i been .. LOL

yeah.. lame!
and i normally laugh at anything!! i have an odd sense of humor.

but glad everyone else liked it.

I was quite skeptical going into the movie, especially as I was a fan of the series and wasn't thrilled to see it being turned into a comedy. I have to say it was much better than I expected, and the tie-in to the series was handled with more aplomb than I expected.

Just don't see it if you want the same -tone- as the series.

Destroying the original; 21 Jump Street, Footloose, etc. won't waste my money on movies like that. Just my opinion. 8)

I totally understand what you mean, but if you watch Jump Street knowing it's a spoof I promise you'll roll in the aisles.

I'll probably watch it when it comes to NetFlix or my cables VOD.

My son and I just saw Avengers 3D, $28 for the 2 tickets and another $20 for 2 small popcorns and 2 small drinks (CDN $). It has to be a really good show to get me into a theatre these days.

Going to the movies has definitely become an investment
