I see it available on the site, did anyone bring it home with their phone today, or have one on the way?

Let's hear about it!
 
I'm hoping Seidio comes out with an extended slim battery. I just don't want to have the back of my phone bulge out with the full size extended batteries that are available.

I had the big fat extended battery on my Inc1, and I loved it. Made it sit better in my hand. I'd be okay with that, I'd just be annoyed about having to return the case I got for the phone. >_<
 
The Verizon store said showed available, but they couldn't locate them. I cut the corner tabs off my 1750 Seido and it fits with stock back.

Remember, the stock back has wiring in it so needs to fit properly.

It is rather surprising that something as big as this isn't known by people that have been on the forum as long as you have. This was a rather gigantic issue when the truth first came out. I figured by now everyone knew to avoid Seidio slim batteries.

Seidio lies about their battery capacities. They do not make a batter that is the same physical size as a 1st party battery but has more capacity. This has been tested and proven numerous times on many phones all with the same result. Seidio doesn't have magic powers to break the laws of physics.
 
Thanks! I am very surprised at those results. So far the stock battery in the Dinc2 is treating me well. If that is the case I don't see a need to upgrade at this point. Maybe once the battery starts dying I'll just purchase another stock battery.
 
In my experience, Seidio makes some good cases and excellent screen protectors (for some reason I find theirs easier to apply and longer-lasting), but the batteries are never up to par.

Batteries - over-advertised on the output (a Seidio 1750 is on par with an HTC 1400)

Cases - always ALWAYS avoid their first run cases. They tend to peel or scratch the phone, and then 3-6 months later, Seidio has it fixed. Then, on to the same issues with the next phone.

Screen protectors - Same quality as SGP, but costs $4 more and doesn't have the tabbed installation. They're good, but better is available for less money, so why get them?

I learned my lesson the hard way on their cases and screen protectors, and saw enough of their batteries to avoid them. Seidio should only be an accessory option in the cases where they are the ONLY option.
 
Still thinking about ordering it... I really LIKE the case that's on my phone, but for better battery life... well..

I've always found the Seidio Innocase series to be fantastic and provide exactly what I'm looking for in a case. I've never had any problems with scratching or anything.

And I have always been able to get 2 Seidio screen protectors for the same price as one SGP. I have never found a better screen protector for less money. All of the cheaper ones are more difficult to apply/reapply and always allow for a substantial build up from oil and such on the protector. I'm always having to replace the cheaper ones within a month's time. Seidio's last me...well, I've never had to replace one of theirs. They go on exceptionally well and they last until I get rid of the phone.

To each their own.
 
Wow, I had no idea about all of this. I used a Studio 1750 in my original DINC and now use the same in my new DINC2. What is the largest capacity HTC battery available for the DINC2 that is still slim (including all HTC batteries made for other HTC phones but that still fit)?

The HTC OEM 1500 seems to be the longest lasting. The Seidio 1750 and the Amzer/Mugen/ChiChitec 1800s all tend to fall in between the stock 1300, and the HTC 1500 in terms of actual performance.

Any idea what models have compatible batteries with the DINC2 (other than the DINC1) that have a 1500? I don't think there is a 1500 available for purchase for the DINC2, is there?

Is the EVO 4G/Hero batter compatible? It looks to be the same size...?

The Incredible 2 comes with a 1450. Paying $40 or more for an extra 50 mAh is beyond silly, no offense. I felt kind of stupid paying $30 to go from my stock 1300 to the 1500.

But to give you a direct answer, no, at this time I'm not aware of any official 1500s fitting the Incredible 2.

None taken since they are $9 on eBay (listed as HTC OEM & unused - search "htc oem 1500") where people have upgraded other models to an extended battery. I could always use a spare - often times much more than I could use $10!

I was just curious if any of those batteries would fit my phone.
