I wouldn't worry about quad or linpac scores. They really don't mean anything. Read this comment from a very talented and respected developer, aamikam (creator of MikG, Mik3D etc.)

yeah i never trust those apps anyways. who knows how accurate they are.

for me it is all about performance and how does it feel. if it feels fast, then that is ok with me.

Precisely! I can't see how these can be accurate from phone to phone. Just like kernels there are too many variables to consider to compare different phones accurately.
