$25 Google Play offer

With the Google play offer ending Sunday I'm guessing I won't be eligible considering UPS/Google have screwed my shipment up and it says it will arrive Monday?

So much for 2 Day Priority air where it sat in Kentucky all day... I ordered Wednesday night by the way.
 
Well if it shipped be mad at UPS not Google. Although I hear Google has been struggling to keep up with orders and returns so it might be due to them as well. Purchasing elsewhere with units confirmed in stock might have been faster. Is the cutoff that you have to register on your device before October first or just purchase before then? Could try to get in touch with Google and ask them to give you the credit maybe. Oh well it's only $25....
 
When I ordered it was in stock so I don't know who to be upset at. All I know is that it left Kentucky on Friday which I would assume is the 1st day, and I would assume it would arrive the 2nd since it was 2nd Day Air, and that's a priority service. I'm in North Carolina btw so it's not a huge distance to cover.

As of now it's sitting in Greensboro NC, less than 40 minutes from my door step...
 
See, that's exactly why (after learning that physical retailers sell it) I went down to my local Staples and bought it outright. No paying for shipping (in addition to taxes, in California), and no WAITING for shipping either.

I only wish I could have known to save some of my credit for this $0.25 sale. Woulda been a freakin STEAL...
 
Well I bought the 8 gig version simply because I'll do more streaming than anything else and sadly as far as I know the 8Gig version is not in stores, at least nothing around me.
 
Did you get this sorted? just to let you know I bought two Nexus' for my girlfriend and I. We both got the credit upon putting a credit card / debit card into the store. Did this yesterday after the apparent cut off date. Oh, we're in the UK too so I'm not sure if there's country based times for the cut offs.
 
You might want to try calling google, if you purchased prior to the cutoff, you should be able to get grandfathered in.
 
If i ordered before the cut off date and haven't received it yet, will i be included?

Also how much do you get when purchasing in the UK?
 
I just bought a Nexus 7 from the store today and they still gave me the $25 Google Play credit. Maybe its based on device and not when you setup your account?
 
When my nexus went missing during delivery and I rang Google up, the lady on the phone said I wouldn't get the credit,

When you get the google credit added, do you receive an email? also can you use it from your PC or only from purchases made using the nexus7 device?
Just wondering because I ordered it and it was delivered in september, but I had it delivered to my mom, and she didn't activate until about October 14th, I am going to the states on October 28th to get it.
Will it show up on my google account when I am on the google play store? Right now for payment methods on google play it shows my credit card or google credit (but the credit is at $0.00)

Soo it looks like I will be receiving my credit after all, I have been exchanging emails with the google support. Initially they gave me the noob email asking if I did this and this.
I responded and said I thought that I didn't receive the credit because I activated after october 1st (even though I bought my tablet at the end of august)
I guess the problem was because I have more than one payment method on my google wallet account (my japanese mobile phone) and because my billing address was set to Japan when my tablet was activated I failed to receive the credit because of that!
But support said if I create a new wallet account and have only a US billing address and payment, that they will give me credit there.
So it sounds like they will give me credit, just not on the account I want to receive it on. I'm happy that I'm getting it, but would be happier if they could just add it to my main gmail account.
Oh well, I guess I'll wait and see if it happens, but it sounds like I will receive the credit!!
 
I received the credit yesterday I am so happy but the funny thing is throughout this whole process I never had any problems with getting the Transformers movie...
