Hi.

You can use something like MyPhoneExplorer to view the contents and make limited changes to the phone memory.

Hello,

I was wondering if its possible to view the contents of the internal phone memory via a PC and it be treated like any other external drive e.g F:/phone memory etc.

I dont know the fomat for the internal memory and as its 1GB with shared RAM/ROM im guesing it wont be FAT32 or similar so that could be the problem?

I can access the micro SD card no problem, and if i select 'connect to phone' when connecting the usb cable it does show the pc companion folder but doesnt give access to everything else or treat it like a typical drive...

Thanks for any advice.

1 way I do it is on the phone I installed an FTP application called SwiFTP. Set it up with a name and password....then connect the phone to my local network....connect to it using a FTP browser like FileZilla or even using firefox. I go to 192.168.0.200:2121 (or whatever my phone's IP is....the app tells me) then I can move and edit pretty much everything on the phone....not just the contents of the SD card.

Or just get a local file browser on the phone like Astra or File Manager or something.

Be careful what you mess with.
